The Treaty of Accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union is an international treaty between the EU Member States and the Republic of Croatia. Its signing and entering into force constitute legal preconditions for EU membership.

When the Treaty was signed on 9 December 2011 in Brussels, Croatia became an acceding country. Pursuant to the provisions of the Accession Treaty, it will enter into force on 1 July 2013, provided it is ratified by the Republic of Croatia and all EU Member States in accordance with their respective constitutional requirements and provided that the instruments of ratification are deposited with the Government of the Italian Republic by 30 June 2013.
