At the constituent session of Parliament held on 11th January 2008 Mr. Luka Bebić, a member of the Croatian Democratic Union, was elected Speaker of Parliament.

CV of the Speaker of Parliament

Pursuant to Article 96 of the Croatian Constitution, the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament shall substitute for the President of the Republic if the latter is prevented from performing his/her duties. All appointments and obligations of the Speaker are coordinated in the Office of the Speaker of Parliament. Its working hours are as a rule from 8.30 until 16.30, or as circumstances require.
