Born on 20 June 1936 in Sušci-Dicmo. He graduated from the Faculty of Theology in Zagreb and the Faculty of Philosophy in Zadar. He obtained his degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Social, Humanistic and Theological Sciences from theUniversity of Zagreb.
