Croatian parliament Speaker meets Albanian defence minister

Zagreb - Parliament Speaker Željko Reiner on Thursday met with Albanian Defence Minister Mimi Kodheli, who was on an official visit to Croatia.

Kodheli's visit represents the continuity of good cooperation between the two allies and a confirmation of the exceptional relations between Croatia and Albania, it was said.

Kodheli expressed the wish that the two countries jointly assist their neighbours in making headway in European integration.

The two officials agreed that intensifying cooperation in all areas would contribute to stability and prosperity. Reiner said Croatia was willing to help Albania on its path towards European Union membership. (Hina)
