Parliament votes on amended Criminal Records Act

Zagreb - The Croatian Parliament on Friday unanimously voted on amendments to the Act on the Legal Consequences of Conviction, Criminal Records, and Rehabilitation, which regulates the international exchange of information from criminal records.

The amendments envisage the establishment of a central database on third-country nationals convicted for a crime in an EU member country.

The parliament amended the Act on General Purpose Products to ensure that general-purpose products on the Croatian market have a product label in the Croatian language with the required information.

The legislature also adopted Prime Minister Andrej Plenković's report on meetings of the European Council and a proposal to declare the first Sunday in June the national day of cancer survivors.
