The parliamentary Committee on the Constitution, Standing Orders and political system decided on the distribution of allocations for the parliamentary parties and independent MPs in 2023

Zagreb - The parliamentary committee on the Constitution, Standing Orders and political system on Wednesday decided on the distribution of allocations for the parliamentary parties in 2023 when the total disbursement for this purpose amounts to €8.3 million.

The allocations are paid in installments quarterly.

The ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) with the highest number of MPs is entitled to the highest allocation, €3.4 million.

The opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) follows with €1.89 million. The Democratic Movement (DP) will be paid €604,000 and the Bridge party €433,000.

The We Can party will receive €283,000, while the Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS) and the Istrian Democratic Party (IDS) will get €165,000 each.

The Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS), the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS), and the Croatian Conservative Party will get approximately €107,000 each.

The New Left, the Workers' Front, GLAS, the party called "Stranka s imenom i prezimenom", the Centre and the Reformists will receive €59,000 each.

Also allocations of 53,000 euros will be given to Croatian Sovereignists, HRAST, HDS, Blok za Hrvatsku, Fokus, HNS and the HDSSB each.

Independent MPs can count on €53,000.

The allocations are distributed according to the set-up of the parliament at its inaugural meeting and the formula does not reflect later changes.
