Changes in HDZ and SDP parliamentary benches as new MPs take office

Zagreb - The Sabor on Tuesday unanimously approved changes to the HDZ and SDP parliamentary groups, with HDZ's Marija Vrhovski taking up her seat and being sworn in, while SDP’s Marko Krička will begin his mandate on 22 September.

Vrhovski joins parliament from her post as head of the Government and Parliament General Affairs Office, replacing Danijela Blažanović, who is leaving parliament to take up a state secretary position at the Ministry of Demography and Immigration as of today.

Krička, the former SDP secretary-general, has decided to activate his parliamentary mandate, replacing Ivana Ribarić Majanović.

Krička will take up his seat on 22 September. Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković noted that he had already been sworn in on 16 May 2024.
