Jandroković has convened the session for 20-21 August in accordance with the Constitution and Parliament's Rules of Procedure. The session will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The request for the extraordinary session, submitted by President Zoran Milanović over an illegal hazardous waste site in the Gospić area, contains a four-point agenda.

The second would require the government to meet with representatives of citizens and civic initiatives within three days and brief them on the situation and planned measures.

The third would require the government to appoint the head of the State Inspectorate immediately and no later than within 15 days.

The fourth would require the State Inspectorate to immediately inspect all waste disposal sites in Croatia where there are reasonable grounds to suspect they contain hazardous or illegally dumped waste. The Inspectorate would have three months to report on its findings to Parliament.
