High-Ranking Delegations Laid Wreaths on Mirogoj Cemetery

Zagreb – Marking the Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and the Day of Croatian Defenders, high-ranking state delegations and a delegation of the City of Zagreb laid wreaths and lit candles at the Mirogoj Cemetery in honour of all those who lost their lives in the Croatian Homeland War. 

Mr Zlatko Gareljić, Defence Advisor to the President of the Republic of Croatia, Member of Parliament Mr Draženko Pandek and Veterans’ Minister Mr Predrag Matić, laid wreaths in the name of the President of the Republic, the Croatian Parliament and the Prime Minister at the monument of the Voice of Croatian Victims - Wall of Pain, the Central Cross in the Alley of the Fallen Croatian Defenders, the tomb of the first President of the Republic of Croatia Mr Franjo Tuđman and at the common grave of unidentified victims of the Homeland War.

Besides by the presidential, parliamentary and governmental delegations, wreaths were laid by representatives of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Veterans, Ministry of the Interior, Armed Forces, delegations of homeland defenders’ associations, Police Department and the City of Zagreb.
