Croatian Deputy Parliament Speaker Reiner awarded high Italian decoration

Zagreb - Croatian Deputy Parliament Speaker Željko Reiner in Zagreb on Tuesday received the Italian Order of the Star decoration for promoting the Italian language and culture. 

Reiner was presented with the decoration by Italian Ambassador Adriano Chiodi Cianfanari at a ceremony that was attended by Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Constitutional Court President Miroslav Šeparović, members of Parliament, many diplomats and other distinguished guests. 

The Order of the Star is the second highest Italian decoration, awarded by the Italian president, at the proposal of the foreign minister, to individuals around the world who promote the Italian culture and language and contribute to their presence in other cultures.
