Zagreb - Ahead of the 4th Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform in Stockholm, the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament on Sunday attended a reception hosted by the Crown Princess of Sweden, Princess Victoria, and Prince Daniel, and met the Chairman of the Stockholm City Council, Olle Burell.
In talks with Princess Victoria, whom Speaker Gordan Jandroković had previously met in 2018, he underlined that relations between the two countries are marked by friendship and excellent bilateral cooperation.
He also expressed hope that Princess Victoria would visit Croatia soon.
Earlier in the day Jandroković met the Chairman of the Stockholm City Council, Olle Burell, who briefed him on the day-to-day functioning and priorities of the city administration.
It was noted during the talks that the Croatian community in Stockholm and the rest of Sweden makes an important contribution to strengthening friendly relations between the two countries. Jandroković and Burell expressed satisfaction with the progress of bilateral economic cooperation, alongside the steady increase in the number of Swedish tourists visiting Croatia.
On Monday, the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament will take part in the 4th Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform and deliver an address during the opening segment of the summit.
