Cvitan sworn in as Chief State Prosecutor

Zagreb - The newly-appointed Chief State Prosecutor Dinko Cvitan was officially sworn in at a ceremony in the national parliament on Wednesday before Sabor Speaker Josip Leko. 

On March 7, the Sabor unanimously voted for Cvitan's appointment who thus succeeded Mladen Bajic who was the public attorney for three consecutive terms. 

Cvitan, born in Zagreb in 1958, was at the helm of the Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime (USKOK) for the last eight years. (Hina)
