Jandroković meets with Japanese foreign and tourism ministers

Tokyo - Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković held meetings with Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono and Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Minister Keiichi Ishii in Tokyo on Wednesday.

Jandroković and Kono expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral friendly relations and underscored the importance of reciprocal visits by the two countries' senior officials and the maintenance of political dialogue, says a press release issued by the Croatian parliament.

They agreed that the future cooperation should focus on boosting economic cooperation.

The talks with Minister Ishii revolved around a future agreement on air connections between the two countries, infrastructure projects and the tourist trade.

Jandroković is due to travel to Hiroshima on Thursday.
