Zagreb - The Croatian Parliament on Friday elected five members to the HRT Programming Council by secret ballot. Among 13 candidates, it elected Edib Ahmetašević, Damir Bučević, Ozana Ramljak, Sanja Sarnavka, and Vitomir Šimić.
The candidates were voted on individually, with a minimum of 76 votes required for election.
The parliamentary Media Committee initiated the selection process as the terms of Vlaho Bogišić, Ozana Ramljak, Nikola Baketa, Đemal Bratić, and Robert Markt expired in early March.
The Programming Council consists of 11 members, nine of whom are appointed and dismissed by Parliament. Their term lasts four years, with half of the members elected every two years.
