Parliament Speaker issued message for Rosh Hashanah

Zagreb - Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković on Friday extended his best wishes to the Jewish community on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year.

"May the new year bring peace, good health and happiness to you and your families, and may the coming holidays of Yom Kippur and Sukkot be filled with abundance and unity. In the time ahead, let us build together a better society imbued with mutual understanding, respect and well-being," Jandroković said, concluding his message with the traditional greeting "Leshana tova tikatevu - May you be inscribed for a good year."
